Project Summary:

The Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development (MOPIED) contracted Farsight Africa Group to create content on the purpose, process, and actions of the National Development Plan-9.

The campaign involved;

• Strengthening the quality of information disseminated on the NDP-9 at both state and national levels; creative ways were devised through pro-active communications.
• Production of audio-visual content for dissemination to Radio, TV and Digital platforms
• Creating mini-documentaries that explained the actions the government is taking to reach its goals and how citizens can participate and contribute to the development of the nation. These were produced in English https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD1QGhMFQME –and Somali https://youtu.be/65Yt9YLhLs4

FS Manager Comment:

At the time of this project Somalia was trying to qualify for a special program for debt relief with the IMF. The success of this project contributed to the larger initiative. We were proud of our client and of our own work when the program was accessed.
