The study entails a survey of gender dimensions of various aspects of UNICEF programming in Somalia. The study includes Household surveys, Key Informant Interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Institutional Capacity Assessment of WASH, nutrition, child protection and other thematic areas. The target locations were Somaliland, Puntland and central south regions.
From the field team to the project personnel the study ran smoothly. The study has allowed us to provide an evidence-base and direction for gender-transformative and inclusive approaches to supplement the UNICEF Somalia humanitarian and development response
